Amanda started dancing and singing around the house at the age of two and her mother decided to put Amanda into formal dance classes at age four. She started out at Joy’s Dance Factory in Lethbridge, Alberta and when her family moved to Winnipeg, she started at Doreen Bissett School of Dance. She trained in jazz, tap, ballet, until she was 20. She has competed in the Manitoba Dance Festival and when she was too old to compete, she decided to teach. She left the country for a short time and now that she is back, she can’t wait to get back into teaching and misses the dance community here in Winnipeg. Amanda loves to share her knowledge of dance and her passion for dance with her students. She enjoys the energy that the students give her and enjoys seeing them succeed with the work she gives them.
